Jim Shelton, MBA/MA Ed '93
the US Department of Education's Assistant Deputy Secretary for Innovation and Improvement.
Mr. Shelton was previously a program director for the education division of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a partner at NewSchools Venture Fund, and a senior consultant with McKinsey & Company. Mr. Shelton holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an MA from the Stanford School of Education.
Symposium attendees will have the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions with leaders from the field, covering a diverse range of topics including but not limited to: Organizational Leadership, Educational Entrepreneurship, Blended Learning, Philanthropy, Charter School Management, and Education Consulting.
