Fifth Year Cal Grant Extension
STEP teacher candidates who received Cal Grant A or B as an undergraduate student may be eligible for a fifth year of Cal Grant funding.  The annual award amount is the same as the amount the student received for each undergraduate academic year.

The Financial Aid Office automatically considers eligibility for Cal Grant funds when the student applies for financial aid for STEP.

Extra Credit Teacher Home Purchase Program
This program is designed to make homeownership a possibility for eligible teachers, administrators, and classified employees working in high priority schools in California.

The ECTP is intended to help high priority schools attract and retain teachers by offering an incentive in the form of down payment assistance for the purchase of a home anywhere in California.  Check the program’s website for information about eligibility and terms.

For additional scholarships and fellowship opportunities, check the School of Education’s Guide to Fellowships and Grants.
