and Milbrey McLaughlin discussed promoting positive adolescent
development in families, schools, and communities in the twenty-first
century.

Spring ~ March 11, 2002:
A panel discussion moderated by Professor Linda Darling-Hammond
featured three SUSE alumni discussing their experiences with starting
new schools. Pictured panelists (left to right) Steve Jubb
(Executive Director, Bay Area Coalition of Equitable Schools, AM'
82), and Nicky Ramos- Beban (Co-Director, East Palo Alto High
School, AM '92) share their school stories with a “sell out”
crowd. Chris Bischof (Director, Eastside College Preparatory
School in East Palo Alto, AM '93) was also a member of the panel.
