The School of Education is most integral to The Stanford Challenge’s Initiative to Improve K-12 Education. All of our campaign priorities connect to improving K-12 education in this country. Through managing our own charter schools, preparing elementary and secondary teachers, engaging in school reform initiatives, promoting connections between schools and communities to support youth development, and influencing education policy, we are working to reform the nation’s schools.
We believe that improving education for all is the foundation on which we can build a better future for our world. A more educated society will be better prepared to solve society’s biggest challenges. Therefore, all of our research and programs serve the ultimate goals of The Stanford Challenge. In this unprecedented effort, we look for help to all who believe in the university’s obligation to make quality education accessible world-wide. As our faculty and students have a vital role to play, so, too do our alumni and friends, whose generosity and support have always made it possible for us to work for a brighter tomorrow.
