What were you doing before coming to Stanford GSE?
Prior to Stanford GSE, I worked as an intervention instructor at a small public school in Oakland.
What are your research interests?
My interests are in science education, urban education, small group work, and social emotional intelligence.
What are your academic/career goals post-GSE?
I am interested in continuing research as a professor or at a research institution (e.g. WestEd, SRI, etc.). Additionally, I would love to train pre-service teachers at a teacher education program or design curriculum for non-profit education organization.
Why did you choose to come to Stanford?
The professors here are accessible. I knew I would receive the support I needed to develop as a scholar. I was excited to have the opportunity to work with the incoming teachers in the Stanford Teacher Education Program.
