What were you doing before coming to Stanford GSE?
Working with Educational Research in Latin America and Caribbean at the World Bank.

What are your research interests?
Quantitative research in education. Specifically, my main area of interest is teacher's labor market and I'm focusing my research on Brazilian education.

What are your academic/career goals post-GSE?
My career goals post-GSE is to work in the Brazilian government and/or international institutions with education policy-implementation and policy-research.

Why did you choose to come to Stanford?
Many characteristics of Stanford were important to my decision. First, the strong quantitative-side of Stanford GSE was key to my decision. The connection that some professors have with Brazilian education was also really important. Plus the great weather and being close to San Francisco made the decision easier!
