We have returned from the university's spring break, and campus is awash in bright sunlight and new blossoms. We're delighted to update you on the latest happenings here at Stanford GSE.

Our issue begins with an article sharing more about the GSE’s education minor and honors program for undergraduates. These programs provide invaluable opportunities for undergraduates to delve deeper into the field of education and engage with our faculty. In other news, recent studies have shed light on the prevalence of chronic pain in children and the treatments that could potentially offer hope. Next, look through the photo gallery of our inaugural Career Pathways Dinner Event, an evening that connected students with GSE alums. We're also proud to share that Carla Pugh, PhD '11, has been appointed as the Joint Commission's inaugural presidential fellow, furthering her impactful work in healthcare and education. Children's Health Council: Educator Advisory Group
(1) April/May 2024, (2) September 2024, (3) October/November 2024

Challenge Success is working on a project with CHC. They are seeking to gather a diverse group of teachers from across the country and with various backgrounds to represent the national demographic of students. There is a $500 paid opportunity for K-12 educators to share their input on working with students who have both learning and mental health challenges.
