Race, Sexuality, and the Educational Experiences of LGBTQ+ Asian Americans

This presentation will focus on the ways in which Asian American/Pacific Islanders (API) LGBTQ+ youth navigate, negotiate and strategically utilize, their sexual and racial identities at the K-12 and post-secondary levels. The talk will also highlight the larger implications in understanding the diversity of API communities, as well as address the intersections that exist within the larger LGBTQ+ movement.
