Getting Things Done: Strategies and Digital Tools for Managing Time and Tasks

Getting Things Done: Strategies and Digital Tools for Managing Time and Tasks

Wednesday, February 8, 2023
12:00pm
Zoom

The beginning of a new year can often spark motivation to accomplish new personal organization goals or prompt you to reevaluate current approaches and reset. Are you feeling overwhelmed with managing your time and tasks or are you looking to revamp your time/task management process? Join GSE IT as we explore how students can optimize their schedules and responsibilities using effective techniques and digital tools.

This interactive workshop will be co-led by the Stanford Learning Lab, which supports students’ learning goals across their academic experience. We’ll discuss common challenges with time and task management, and learn which digital tools can help organize academic deadlines and demands.

The workshop will be anchored to three central questions:

  • What is personal energy management and how does it impact time and task management?
  • Which time/task management methods optimize my schedule and responsibilities?
  • How can digital tools reduce friction and increase efficiency?
