In this presentation, Marybeth Gasman will discuss an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation-funded, large-scale program aimed at diversifying the professoriate and a corresponding longitudinal, multi-site, research project that explores the many dimensions of the program. Professor Gasman will showcase the varied and diverse methodological approaches and data sources, present preliminary findings, discuss the importance of diverse and deeply-committed research teams that emphasize regular challenge and understanding, and highlight the significance of work done in partnership and collaboration with Minority Serving Institutions.
