An in-person professional learning experience at Stanford University where participants will:
- Use research-based strategies to strengthen pedagogical knowledge to enhance students' conceptual understanding
- Focus on integration of Science Practices (NGSS/AP)
- Work collaboratively to enhance curricula that better reflect big ideas and unifying biological concepts
- Explore curriculum-building, teaching practices, and assessments
- Build a network of support and empower teachers to expand and guide students' opportunities to learn at a deeper level
Audience: Designed for 7th-12th grade Biology teachers
