An in-person professional learning experience at Stanford University where participants will:

  • Use research-based strategies to strengthen pedagogical knowledge to enhance students' conceptual understanding
  • Focus on integration of Science Practices (NGSS/AP)
  • Work collaboratively to enhance curricula that better reflect big ideas and unifying biological concepts
  • Explore curriculum-building, teaching practices, and assessments
  • Build a network of support and empower teachers to expand and guide students' opportunities to learn at a deeper level

Audience: Designed for 7th-12th grade Biology teachers
