GSE Alumni Virtual Community Gathering
Hosted by Dan Gilbert, MA '02; Jim Vanides, MA '02; Heidi Chang, MA '01; and Minette Chan, MA '02
GSE virtual community gatherings are an opportunity for Graduate School of Education alumni to create and facilitate conversations and meet-ups for their fellow alumni. Share resources, network, and connect with the alumni community. Gatherings can focus on a topic, experience, your GSE cohort, or a gathering for a specific region or country.
LDT alumni - you are invited to join us for an informal one-hour virtual (Zoom) meet-up!
This isn’t your average “let’s just hang out” meet-up - the world is experiencing a historic pandemic, and educators everywhere are scrambling to teach remotely, many for the first time. As stewards of insights, research, and experience about teaching and learning using technology, we can help. What would it look like if the LDT community could throw some “lifesaver rings” to the millions of people impacted by this rapid shift to learning online?
Join us May 1 at 10am PDT for a friendly hello - and more importantly, to explore how we can share our insights and experience in a way that can help learners and teachers navigate the “COVID Era”. Perhaps something as simple as a co-authored blog with tips, insights, and encouragement can help reduce the stress that teachers, parents, and students are experiencing.
We look forward to seeing you!
