The third annual Race, Inequality, and Language in Education (RILE) Conference will focus on the intersection of issues of race, inequality and language and on diversifying voices in the academy. It seeks to move from single-issue discussions about inequality while highlighting scholarship and voices in the academy that are often denied a prominent space. The RILE conference provides a forum where voices can be heard.

Stanford's GSE seeks to take a leading role in conducting research on issues of poverty, race, and language in schools. Launching the RILE program at Stanford allows the GSE to become a leader in this area by bringing together leading scholars from across the nation.
