On April 26, the National Memorial for Peace and Justice opened in Montgomery, Alabama. The GSE and the Taube Center for Jewish Studies sponsored a group of four students and Dr. Ari Kelman to attend the opening, and to visit the new memorial and the Legacy Museum. They were privileged to travel with a group from San Francisco’s Glide Memorial Church, a partnership that enriched everyone’s experience.
They want to share their reflections and impressions of the Memorial and Museum, and open up a conversation about race, history, memory, and education.
Please join us Monday, May 14 @ noon, in Cubberly 114. Lunch will be served (first come, first served)
