What's A Good Statement of Purpose? (Master's) - Admission Webinar

Join admissions representatives and GSE affiliates for an online webinar focused on how to write a good Statement of Purpose for the Master's program

A Statement of Purpose is required for submitting a complete application to our EDS MS, ICE/IEPA MA, LDT MS, and POLS MA programs. What should be included in this important document? How can applicants use their own unique talents and background to make their case for admission to their program of interest?

Hosted by the GSE Admissions Team, “What’s a Good Statement of Purpose?” will cover what the admission committee is looking for in a Master's Program Statements of Purpose. Attendees will also hear from current GSE students who will share their experience writing their statement of purpose. The hosts will compare and contrast a clear, concise, compelling document with one that is vague and unfocused.

Please note that webinars are not evaluative interviews and are not required as part of the admissions process.
