Completing a course online is challenging. Online learners need to monitor and reflect on their own behavior and learning in an individual learning space, very different from school. Metaspace connects online learners to their peers, who help them to reflect on their learning in class. Using self-explanation and feedback, Metaspace enhances self-regulated learning to help the millions of people in massive open online courses (MOOCs) learn what they came for.
