Musicasa: Engaging Children and Parents in Classical Music

Musicasa is an iPad application that engages children ages 4-8 and their parents in the experience of short, curated selections of classical music to help them develop a deeper and more personal understanding of the music. Designed for families to use at home during down time, Musicasa’s games and activities guide children through musical selections and facilitate imaginative conversations between children and parents about the music itself and what the piece sounds like. By encouraging kids and parents to creatively respond to the music via dialogue, movement, and art, Musicasa makes classical music more accessible and fun.
