Families and friends took part in hands-on experiments during the GSE's first annual Community Science Night.
Students, faculty and staff from Stanford Graduate School of Education hosted a night of experiments and learning at the first annual Community Science Night on Jan. 19. The event, which drew more than 100 people, took place in the CERAS Lobby and Learning Hall on campus. From making gooey worms and smoke rings to cyclones in a bottle, visiting families got an immersive experience through several science stations. Budding scientists even got to wear lab coats. The night also included music, cotton candy, popcorn and tacos.
