This iconic hotel is conveniently located less than a mile from the heart of the conference headquarter hotels. On August 28, 1963, the Reverend Martin Luther King finished his “I Have A Dream” speech while a guest at the Willard. Walt Whitman mentioned it in his works; and Mark Twain penned two books here in the early 1900's. We hope our GSE alumni, faculty and students feel equally inspired!
