Understanding Persistence in MOOCs
Professor Thomas Dee explores student engagement in MOOCs, and what it means for learning.
Professor Thomas Dee presented at the Stanford Digital Learning Forum Spring Conference on student engagement in MOOCs. In a 25 minute discussion, he explored questions of persistence in the courses and effects on learning, and whether engagement really is a good measure of a MOOC's success at all.
