Visiting Scholars

Visiting Scholars are non-teaching appointments. As a courtesy to colleagues around the world, SUSE agrees to host a small number of visitors each year. These individuals come to Stanford to consult with a faculty member whose research is close to their own. They can enrich the life of our academic community, but as we are limited in space we only accept a few requests (2-3 per area) per year. They are expected to give a colloquium or guest lecturing during their visit. Visitors have to pay a fee for expenses incurred while at SUSE.
