Efundunke Hughes

Efundunke (Dunke) Hughes ’06 (STEP), informs us that she is a national board certified teacher and a network instructional coach for elementary and high school teachers in Chicago. She also serves as the senior seminar instructor for Target H.O.P.E., a college preparatory program that prepares high school students for graduation, college matriculation and graduate studies. Dunke, an alumna of this program, credits Target H.O.P.E. with instilling in her the value of community service. She also notes that she will participate in Stanford Travel Study’s Mediterranean Family Adventure, this summer, where she will implement curriculum and programming designed for teens traveling through Rome and Greece. On a personal note she adds, “I plan to publish a children’s book, That’s What Daddies Do, and surprise my dad with it for Father’s Day.”
