Equity in Multilingual Schools and Communities

Stanford Graduate School of Education invites you to a special celebration to honor Professor Emerita Guadalupe Valdés. This event will feature remarks by Dean Daniel L. Schwartz, Guadalupe Valdés, and the co-editors of the forthcoming Festschrift, Equity in Multilingual Schools and Communities: Celebrating the Contributions of Guadalupe Valdés. With submissions from 40 scholars, this edited volume stands as a testament to Professor Valdés’s legacy of scholarship and mentoring. Stanford GSE welcomes the contributing authors, Professor Valdés’s students and colleagues, and all members of the Stanford GSE community to celebrate the book’s publication and pay tribute to Professor Valdés’s impactful contributions towards equity in multilingual schools and communities.
