Energizing the Potential of All Learners: A Stanford Accelerator for Learning Summit with the Yidan Prize Foundation
RSVP to participate via LIVESTREAM.
As part of our work to advance the mission and goals of the Stanford Accelerator for Learning — a leading initiative within the university’s vision — the Stanford Graduate School of Education (GSE) is hosting a research summit, co-sponsored by the Yidan Prize Foundation on September 28, 2022 at the David and Joan Traitel building on campus.
The vision of the Stanford Accelerator for Learning is simple: accelerate solutions to the most pressing challenges facing learners. The accelerator emphasizes a student-centered approach to the science and design of learning by engaging external partners and faculty from across the university to improve experiences in and out of school. Stanford President Marc Tessier-Lavigne will kick off our fall summit which will focus on the theory of change driving the vision. The summit will offer sessions highlighting research and innovations that build solutions for under-resourced learners, early childhood learners, and those with learning differences. This private gathering will include approximately 250 prominent national and international education, philanthropic, and business leaders.
The summit is an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and expand connections with education luminaries from around the world, taking this important work further and faster. Other summit speakers include Yidan Prize laureates, Stanford faculty from the GSE, the School of Medicine, the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute, Humanities and Sciences, and industry experts, among others. The in-person event is by invite only.
