Equity of Voice: Creative Writing as a Tool for Authentic Voice and Learning

Tuesday, March 26, 2024
3:30pm
Zoom

How does equity of voice live in the world of writing?

Equity of voice goes beyond classroom discussions. Join our incredible instructional coach Tina for this session, where we'll explore how equity of voice also lives in the world of writing. Specifically, we'll dig into how creative writing can be used as a tool for authentic voice and learning in any classroom--not just the English classroom. Therefore, teachers in all content areas are encouraged to attend.

This session will be exploratory and experiential in nature, so come prepared to engage in three quick creative writing activities spanning the genres of poetry, flash fiction, and even songwriting!

Tuesday, March 26th from 3:30-5:00pm PDT / 6:30-8:00pm EDT
