An interactive workshop centered on authentic engagements and worthy tasks.

What makes an activity group worthy? Alissa, one of our experienced instructional coaches, will lead this interactive workshop centered on authentic engagements and worthy tasks. Participants will learn research on what features of a task make it worth doing in groups in any content area. Our focus on In groups, participants will discuss and adapt tasks for classroom practice. While Alissa's content expertise is math, this session will be relevant and grounded in all content areas that engage with group work. Join this session to discuss and problem solve with other educators and leave with a better grasp on how to bring worthy tasks into your classroom.
