Join us for a screening of the film "Black Voices From the Ivory Tower" with director/producer Dr. Khalid White

Black voices from the Ivy takes you on a journey. This film delves deep into the trials and tribulations faced by Black educators who work to make a difference in elite academic institutions. The cameras capture the voices of scholar-practitioners as they share their invaluable experiences and expertise in advancing equity, inclusion, belonging, and transformative, systemic change. Through a series of probing interviews, we witness firsthand how the cultural, racial, and gendered experiences of faculty shape how they enact change at these prestigious colleges and universities. Every frame is filled with the insight and unfiltered stories of those who have dedicated their lives to making a difference in the lives of others. This film is not just a collection of stories, but a call to action. It offers suggestions, steps, and solutions to move your institution from being merely anti-Black to becoming truly anti-racist.
