Samuel Museus, Associate Professor of Higher Education and Student Affairs, Indiana University, Bloomington

In this presentation, Dr. Museus will discuss how his research agenda seeks to advance equity through transforming dominant discourses in the area of college student outcomes. Specifically, he will explain how his work directly engages and critiques dominant theoretical perspectives and data on college student success, but also transcends these appraisals to generate and examine new and more equitable student success frameworks that are derived from the voices and experiences of diverse populations.
