Media Rules: Healthy Connections in the Digital Age

Friday, September 30, 2016
7:00pm
Memorial Auditorium, 551 Serra Mall, Stanford

Join Challenge Success for our biggest parent education event of the year — Media Rules: Healthy Connections in the Digital Age. The event will feature keynote speaker Dr. Catherine Steiner-Adair, author of the award-winning book, The Big Disconnect: Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age, and leading expert in child development, education, parenting, and family relationships. She will be joined by Challenge Success Co-Founders, Dr. Denise Pope (GSE Senior Lecturer) and Dr. Madeline Levine, for an interactive discussion on how adults and kids can establish healthy connections and positive relationships in the digital age. Navigating technology can feel like uncharted and unprecedented territory for many parents. Find out how we can effectively manage media use when the rules of engagement seem to be constantly changing.

Challenge Success is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Stanford University Graduate School of Education. We partner with parents and educators to design and implement strategies for healthy, engaged kids and stronger schools.
