Online learning in the Humanities & CS+X w/Dr. Petra Dierkes-Thrun

Join us at EAST House for a discussion with Dr. Petra Dierkes-Thrun as she engages us in an informal conversation about online learning – her online pedagogical experiments in the humanities, about MOOCs, and what they may and may not mean for the humanities.

She also plans to discuss her new course, "Experiments in Social Online Learning and Literature" which will be cross-listed with Computer Science and English for the new "CS+X" initiative, and co-taught with her husband, Sebastian Thrun.
