CERAS LEARNING HALL

Since 2010, the San Francisco Unified School Board adopted a school assignment policy intended to promote diversity for the purpose of equitable access to quality education. This policy determines how prospective students are assigned to their elementary, middle, and high schools. In this session, SFUSD Executive Director of Policy & Operations Orla O’Keeffe and Professor Sean Reardon will present their partnership work that influenced a final school board vote determining the criteria used to assign students to schools (i.e. attendance area, census tract).
