Stanford Business of Education Symposium

James Willcox
CEO of Aspire Public Schools since 2009
Mr. Willcox oversaw the growth of Aspire from 17 to 34 schools, serving over 12,000 students across California. Mr. Willcox brings a wealth of multidisciplinary experience to Aspire; he began his career as a helicopter pilot and officer in the US Army, worked in nonprofit consulting at The Bridgespan Group, and served as Principal at NewSchools Venture Fund.
