Stanford Sporadic Psychometrics Seminar (SSPS) is a virtual seminar run 3-4 times per year focused on current research in psychometrics. The seminar series is organized by Prof. Ben Domingue. Future communication about the SSPS seminar will be handled via infrequent communications from this listserv. If you would like information about future seminars, please subscribe to the mailing list.

The winter SSPS seminar will bring together the winners of the 2023 NAEP scoring challenge. This challenge focused on automated scoring of open-ended responses to mathematics questions on the Nation's Report Card. Representatives from the winning teams from Vanderbilt University (PI: Dr. Scott Crossley; Joon Suh Choi; Langdon Holmes; and Wesley Morris), the University of Massachusetts Amherst (PI: Dr. Andrew Lan; Wanyong Feng; Jaewook Lee; William McNichols; Alex Scarlatos; and Mengxue Zhang) and the University of Oregon (PI: Dr. Cengiz Zopluoglu) will discuss their approaches to prediction.
