CERAS LEARNING HALL

A Discussion of GSE Doctoral Sudents' Work on the San Francisco Unified School District Action Research Team

The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) Action Research Team, consisting of Stanford GSE doctoral students, conducts research on shortened timelines for SFUSD administrators to readily reference in decisions. This year’s Action Research Team delved into the topics of early literacy trends, formative measurements of social-emotional (SE) competencies, equity in the design of a behavioral Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI) and examining the professional development around academic conversations in the classroom. In this event, the Action Research Team fellows along with their partner SFUSD leaders, will talk about their experiences with formulating and implementing timely practice-based research questions and models.
