The GSE welcomes nominations for the Alumni Excellence in Education Award. Strong candidates from across a range of education sectors (districts, nonprofits, tech, academia, or research) will have demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following award criterion:
Note that the GSE will send the nomination and letters of support to the nominee as part of our annual summer notification practice.
Please complete the form below to nominate an education scholar, higher education faculty member, policy leader, edtech innovator, entrepreneur, school administrator or other education professional. Only nominations received by the due date will be considered. Alternatively, nominate a PreK-12 educator, counselor, or resource teacher working with young people in a school setting here.
The strongest nominations include details and examples that shed light on the nominee's strengths, achievements, and activities beyond what is stated in the nominee's resume/CV/LinkedIn profile. Note that at least one letter of support (1-2 pages long) written by someone other than the nominator and a resume, CV, or LinkedIn profile are required. A second letter of support (written by someone other than the nominator) is optional but recommended. Please be sure that the letter writer's full name and email address are listed at the top of all letters of support.
Unless the nominator has asked to be notified before the school updates the nominee on the status of their nomination, the GSE will send the nomination and letters of support to the nominee as part of our annual summer notification practice. If you've asked to be notified first, the GSE will seek your approval before we send the nomination and letters of support to the nominee.
We regret that we cannot confer posthumous awards.
We recommend completing your answers in a word processing application and pasting them in the form below to ensure you retain a record. For assistance with any part of the nomination process, please reach out to Holly Materman.
