The Partnership matches researchers from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education with SFUSD district leaders to solve key problems of practice. Together, they create research projects that directly inform the school district’s work to transform teaching and learning for our children in the 21st century.
Founded by Diane Tavenner, Summit Public Schools is a leading public school system that equips all students to lead a fulfilled life. It operates 11 schools in California and Washington, and shares its personalized approach to teaching and learning — Summit Learning — with more than 330 schools across the country for free.
Founded by GSE PhD alum Piya Sorcar, TeachAIDS is an award-winning nonprofit social venture which creates research-based interactive technologies to solve persistent problems in prevention education around the world. With more than 250 partners, and used in 82 countries, all TeachAIDS materials are made available for free.
