About POLS

The Master of Arts program in Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies (POLS) draws upon an integrated knowledge base and the expertise of renowned faculty to equip students for varied careers in the field of education, broadly defined.  POLS provides flexibility for students to take optimal advantage of the diverse resources of a comprehensive research university, while anchoring them with a strong cohort experience and collaborative field-based project teams.  POLS is a nine month, full-time, on campus program.  Admission is highly selective.

Our Mission

Education is a joint venture.  Varied parties in government, business, schools and civil society all contribute to the provision of education and ensure its ongoing vitality.  The mission of POLS is to equip ambitious and talented people with the knowledge, theoretical acumen, and hands-on experience they need for varied careers in the education enterprise.
