Housing

Students considering on-campus housing are strongly encouraged to attend the On-Campus Housing Session on 3/16 at 10am PDT, or to watch the recording.

On-Campus Housing Presentation with Jessica Engelson, Director of Graduate Housing Assignments and Mario Gonzalez, Assistant Director, Graduate Housing Assignments to learn more about the different types of on and off campus housing opportunities we offer to graduate students at Stanford. We will also go over the housing application timeline and answer any questions you may have about living in the Bay area. For more information please visit their website here.

STEP students planning to live on campus in the summer AND autumn/winter/spring must submit two housing applications.

Health Insurance

Students are required to either accept Cardinal Care Health Insurance, or request a health insurance waiver that verifies they have health insurance. More information can be found here: https://studentservices.stanford.edu/my-finances/tuition-fees/non-tuition-charges-fees/student-health

The deadline to waive Stanford's offered health insurance, Cardinal Care, for the summer, is due June 15th. Please note, students will need to waive Cardinal Care a second time for the Autumn/Winter/Spring. Those who decide not to waive by these dates will be automatically enrolled in Cardinal Care.
