Annual gifts to the GSE provide the foundational resource that supports every program, student, scholar, and research initiative to ensure the GSE remains a leader at the forefront of education, addressing the most pressing challenges and providing meaningful opportunities for learners.
The Education Fund is an unrestricted resource for the GSE’s most pressing needs and emerging opportunities. It provides financial aid to attract and nurture students, state-of-the-art technology to inspire innovation and discovery, and seed grants to foster strong, interdisciplinary research-practice partnerships.
The Stanford Teacher Education Program (STEP) Fellowship Fund allows a diverse population of aspiring teachers to immerse themselves in the rigor of STEP and enter the teaching profession with minimal debt. Support for future teachers promises greater student success and improved learning outcomes for all.
The General Fellowship Fund provides critical funding for students in highly competitive doctoral programs. General fellowships facilitate deep exploration alongside collaborative interdisciplinary partnerships, ensuring the GSE leads at the global forefront of discovery and innovation.
The GSE recognizes the generosity and loyalty of our supporters in the following ways:
The Dean’s Circle honors alumni and friends who support the GSE year after year, and includes those who have made a gift of any amount to any fund at the GSE for at least 10 of the last 15 years.
Launched in 2017 to celebrate the GSE’s centennial, the 1917 Circle includes those who make an annual gift of $1,000 or more to any unrestricted fund at the GSE such as the Education Fund or the STEP Fellowship Fund, as well as graduates of the last decade who make a yearly contribution of $500 or more.
