Chief Executive Officer

Stanford New Schools (SNS) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation which partners with the Stanford University School of Education to sponsor East Palo Alto Academy (EPAA), a K-12 elementary and high school chartered by the Ravenswood City School District. East Palo Alto (EPA) is a community about 45 minutes south of San Francisco and 30 minutes north of San Jose. The schools serve predominantly low income, English language learners. They are designed to provide students with a college preparatory program in an environment of responsive, challenging and engaging instruction and to serve as a professional development school site for Stanford University.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) oversees all aspects of Stanford New Schools’ educational, administrative and fiscal operations, making sure that SNS is effectively delivering a high quality educational program, supported by essential services. The CEO works closely with Stanford faculty, and depending on expertise and preferences, may have opportunities to serve in supervisory roles with Stanford graduate students.
