Alumni and friends provide support that is critical to achieving the school’s mission of advancing equitable education for all. You can join our community of supporters in a variety of ways.
Annual gifts are a crucial source of unrestricted funding that allows the GSE to allocate financial resources where the need is greatest. The Education Fund supports need- and merit-based financial aid, innovative approaches to teaching, and research-practice collaborations with school districts across the country.
It’s about more than giving to the GSE. It’s about giving the GSE to someone else. For more information, contact Holly Materman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Remembering the GSE in your estate plans helps sustain and strengthen the school for future generations. In addition, planned giving can be a tax-efficient way to achieve your financial and estate planning goals while leaving a lasting legacy.
For more information about making a planned gift to the GSE, contact Liz Cowie at email@example.com.
Student fellowships are key to our ability to attract and support the most talented graduate students and train them to be the next generation of leaders. Our goal is to ensure that every promising student has an opportunity to attend the GSE regardless of their financial situation.
For more information about supporting endowed student fellowships, contact Heather Coleman Trippel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Endowed professorships are the highest honor the university can bestow upon faculty. This faculty support helps ensure the GSE’s continued excellence and leadership by providing financial stability to the university and school. Professorships also strengthen our ability to recruit top scholars.

The GSE recognizes the generosity and loyalty of our supporters in the following ways:
The Dean’s Circle honors alumni and friends who support the GSE year after year, and includes those who have made a gift of any amount for at least 15 out of the last 20 years.
Launched in 2017 to celebrate the GSE’s centennial, the 1917 Circle includes those who make an annual gift of $1,000 or more as well as graduates of the last decade who make a yearly contribution of $500 or more.
The GSE recognizes those who make planned gifts of any amount as GSE Legacy Partners. Legacy Partners are also honored as members of the Stanford Founding Grant Society, which recognizes planned gifts to any part of the university.
