ElectriStitch: Inspiring kids to stitch together confidence, creativity, and expression

We recognize that children are creators and with ElectriStitch we aim to both teach technical fluency and engage learners in reflective and intentional creating. ElectriStitch defines self expression as identity and creative agency. We aim to teach to express using inclusive practices that provide access to opportunities with cultural roots and community connections. Patchwork, our first kit, does just that with a magnetic patch surface and flexible movable electornic and fabric shapes.
