Techniques that are invented to fight against forgetfulness and to deepen understanding are now misused because of the use of modern technology. Research shows that those who wrote out their notes by hand actually have a stronger understanding and are more successful in applying knowledge. The application is designed to address challenges met by taking notes using computers. Magnote takes advantage of front-end technologies to help users collect knowledge pieces from different resources and motivate them to review and restructure regularly in order to memorize and retrieve knowledge.
