Alumni Excellence in Education Award Nomination Form

The GSE welcomes nominations for the Alumni Excellence in Education Award. Strong candidates from across a range of education sectors (schools, districts, nonprofits, tech, academia, or research) will have demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas:

  • Advancement of knowledge through research, teaching, publications, or technology as it relates to the interdisciplinary field of education
  • Commitment to dynamic, high-quality educational practice at the classroom, school site, or district level as a teacher, principal, or district leader
  • Dedication to underserved and low-resourced student populations
  • Innovation in addressing a timely issue or challenge in education
  • Leadership in educational policy at the local, state, federal, or international level

Recipients are selected by a committee that includes GSE alumni, faculty, and the dean.

Nominations for 2020 are due Monday, April 12, 2020 at 11:59 Pacific Time

Please complete the form below. Only nominations received by the due date will be considered.

The strongest nominations include detailed responses and an additional letter of support as well as a resume or CV for the nominee (submitted using this form).

We strongly encourage recipients to attend the October award reception during reunion weekend in person (travel stipend available).
