Alumni Excellence in Education Award Nomination Form

The GSE welcomes nominations for the Alumni Excellence in Education Award. Strong candidates from across a range of education sectors (schools, districts, nonprofits, tech, academia, or research) will have demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following award criterion:

  • Advancement of knowledge through research, teaching, publications, or technology as it relates to the interdisciplinary field of education
  • Commitment to dynamic, high-quality educational practice at the classroom, school site, or district level as a teacher, principal, or district leader
  • Dedication to underserved and low-resourced student populations
  • Innovation in addressing a timely issue or challenge in education
  • Leadership in educational policy at the local, state, federal, or international level

DEADLINE: Nominations for the 2022 award are due Monday, April 4, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time

The 2022 GSE Alumni Excellence in Education Award cohort will be announced in August 2022.

The strongest nominations include detailed responses and an additional letter of support as well as a resume, CV or functional equivalency such as a LinkedIn contact for the nominee (submitted using this form).

* 'Early career' is defined as an individual who is less than ten years past their terminal degree at the GSE. ** 'Lifetime Achievement' is defined as an individual who is 40 or more years past their terminal degree at the GSE.
